1. Booking Policy
Booking Confirmation: All bookings must be made at least 2–3 weeks in advance to ensure availability. Reservations are handled on a first come, first served basis.
Event Details: Clients are required to provide accurate and complete event details at the time of booking, including date, time, location, and any special requests. Any changes must be communicated as early as possible.
2. Deposit & Payment Policy
Deposit Requirement: An event is only confirmed upon receipt of a 50% deposit. The remaining balance must be settled on the day of the event.
Payment Methods: We accept payments via bank transfer, Juice, MyT Money, or other approved methods (details provided upon booking confirmation).
3. Working Hours & Event Execution
Office Hours: Our team operates Monday to Sunday, 09:00 AM – 08:00 PM (Mauritius Standard Time).
Event Hours: Events can be scheduled based on client preferences, typically between 07:00 AM and 08:00 PM.
Special Requests: Events scheduled outside these hours may incur additional charges.
Waiting Policy: Our team will wait a maximum of 30 minutes from the scheduled start time. If the client does not arrive within this timeframe, the setup will be packed up and no refunds will be issued. Late arrival does not extend the booking duration.
4. Cancellation Policy
7+ days before the event: Full deposit refunded.
Less than 7 days before the event: 50% of deposit refunded.
1 day before or same-day cancellation: No refund of deposit.
Cancellations by Plan Your Date Mauritius Ltd: In rare cases of cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances, clients may choose between a full refund or a rescheduled event, subject to availability.
5. Rescheduling Policy
Clients wishing to reschedule must pay a rescheduling fee of Rs 600, regardless of the reason.
The new date will depend on availability.
No rescheduling is allowed on the day of the event. In such cases, the deposit is forfeited.
6. Weather Policy
Outdoor Events: For events planned outdoors (picnics, proposals, weddings, etc.), we strongly recommend having an alternative indoor location in case of adverse weather (rain, storms, heavy winds).
If the event cannot be carried out outdoors due to weather, we will assist in rescheduling or moving to an indoor alternative where possible.
Client Responsibility: If you choose to proceed despite bad weather, you are responsible for any damage caused to our materials or equipment. Replacement/repair costs will range between Rs 5,000 and Rs 25,000, chargeable to the client.
We actively monitor weather forecasts and inform clients of any changes that may affect the event.
7. Flexibility & 24-Hour Service
24-Hour Availability: While our standard working hours are listed above, we also operate on a 24-hour basis for special requests.
Special Deliveries: We can deliver and set up at any location in Mauritius, including the airport, for maximum convenience.
